Many years ago Dr. J. Vernon McGee had a radio broadcast that featured his reading and discussing the Bible, verse by verse. All his radio broadcasts were recorded, and even though Dr. McGee went home to the Lord many years ago, we can still hear his broadcasts.
His broadcasts, taking you through the entire Bible, take 5 years to complete if you listen to one per day. They are short, approximately 30 minutes each.
On the Thru the Bible website that I linked to, there is also an option to download the notes and outlines to all his broadcasts.
I've found many hours of great pleasure listening to Dr. McGee with his southern twang read and explain the Bible.
