I'm Still Around!

I haven't blogged in a very long time.

I guess you could say that I have the blogging blues.

I'm working on a couple of posts for the very near future, but I'm not exactly sure when they'll get posted. Soon, I hope!

A little look-see into my world:

Well, it may be summer and I work for a school district, but I still have to go to work every day. Ugh! I'd love to have a summer off of work. I do get to leave one hour early without a lunch (that's called our 'summer hours') and I'm grateful for that.

The boy's car is in the shop. We think it might be on it's last legs. Not a big, huge upset as he goes off to college in less than 3 weeks. WOW! Where did that summer go?

Summer? I think this has been the first week of summer for the Great White North. We have been having 80 degree days and higher. You laugh? Today is the second 80 degree day since April. Yup! The first over 80 degree day was yesterday!

My hubby calls this summer, 'the summer that wasn't.' I keep saying that the weatherman just forgot to schedule our summer this year.

I have been busy. We have gone to six grad parties this summer. We went to the last one on Saturday. Yipee! My pocket book was screaming pretty fiercely, but now it can have a rest of three weeks 'til the boy goes back to college.

Speaking of which....we got the bill for the boy's tuition, room and board, and all those other hidden fees. It went up a total of $4,000 for the year! Can you hear me screaming? Yeah, that's me screaming! Macaroli!

I'm in the process of making some new curtains for my son's bedroom. LOL! He leaves in 3 weeks, then I finally get around to it! Oh, well, they'll be there when he comes home for semester break in December. They are pretty! He picked out the fabric. Very boyish, you know!

Whew! This post has helped me to start getting over my blogging blues!
