Today, I experienced one of the many reasons I should wear a watch. I don't wear a watch mostly, because there are clocks everywhere and the current watch I own has given me a rash. It's a cheapie, so I'm sure there's something in the band that doesn't agree with me.
Today when I arrived at work, the clock on the wall was saying 1:00 when it was really 7:30. I took note of it and when a janitor (sorry, custodian) went by the office, I hailed her down and asked her to reset the clock. They have all the batteries, ladders, etc. to deal with all this technical stuff. So.....I didn't pay too much attention, but when I got home it was 3:15. Now, I get off work at 2:30 and I live exactly 3 minutes from the school I work at. Well, then I figured it out that the custodian didn't set the time right. Duh! So, I ended up giving over 1/2 hour of my time free of charge.
Now, you all know why I should be wearing a watch, too.
