1 Grad Party Down 1 To Go

We're doing two graduation parties for my son this year. One for my husband's family who live about 2 hours away. That particular party took place yesterday. We had it at my brother-in-law's house as he lives within easy distance for the entire family AND his son graduated. So, it was a dual graduation party.

Now, in exactly two weeks, I am putting together another graduation party for my family and all of my son's friends. Whew!

Yesterday's party was a bit of a challenge for me, but I won't go into all that. It's rather boring and I'm sure you can imagine the troubles one can face with doing a dual graduation party. Two families-two different ideas of how things should go.

Although, I was highly impressed with the graduation cake. The woman who prepared it is a saint. She took a look at the warrior head (school mascot) on the school website and she duplicated it to perfection. Thank you, sweet dear angel. Unfortunately, that was the highlight at the party for me. But, my son enjoyed and that is what counts.
